Here at Ilford Salvation Army we’re already busy preparing for Christmas. 

Last year we prepared Christmas presents for 150 children who wouldn’t have had much to open on Christmas Day otherwise. This was all possible due to the help of the community- schools, local business and people just like you who decided to help.

This year we need your help more than ever with so many more families are experiencing child poverty because of the impact of COVID-19. Throughout the year Ilford Salvation Army runs a Baby Bank, supporting families who can’t afford to provide the essentials for their babies and toddlers. This Christmas we are preparing parcels that will be delivered to the families and include presents, decoration ideas and other goodies so that they will be able to enjoy celebrating at home.  We aim to help children experience the magic of Christmas in their own home, regardless of the hard times.
